Terms of Use

The service

Heronflow is a free web application for task tracking, note taking and teamwork. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”; it is not guaranteed to run without interruption or errors. Features may change or be removed without prior notice.

Your account and responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the security of your account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account; if you notice unauthorized use, tell us immediately.
• Keep your access keys (MCP) secret; actions made with a key are treated as your actions.
• You must be at least 16 to use the service; if you are not of legal age, you must use it with the permission of your legal guardian.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes the rights of others,
• upload malware, spam, or content that is abusive, hateful or harassing,
• try to bypass access restrictions, rate limits or security measures, or disrupt the service,
• try to access other people’s accounts or data without authorization,
• use automated tools that create excessive load, other than through the permitted API and MCP interfaces.

We reserve the right to restrict or close accounts that break these rules, with or without a warning.

Your content

You keep the rights to the content you create (tasks, notes, comments, files). To let us provide the service, you grant a non-exclusive permission, limited to providing the service, to store and process this content and to share it with the workspace members you choose. You are responsible for the lawfulness of your content and for your rights over the material you upload.

AI output

AI features such as Gemini Nano can produce wrong, incomplete or inappropriate output. It is your responsibility to check the output before you use it; do not base important decisions on it alone.

Privacy and cookies

How your personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

Backups

We recommend that you take regular JSON backups of your data. Taking backups against possible data loss is your responsibility.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided free of charge. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. This clause does not affect liability that the law does not allow to be limited (including intent and gross negligence) or your mandatory rights under consumer law.

Termination

You can stop using your account at any time and ask for it to be deleted. If you break these terms, or if we end the service, we may stop your access.

Running it on your own server

If you run Heronflow on your own server you become the operator of that installation and the data controller towards its users; you must adapt these terms and the privacy texts to your own details.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current text is published on this page; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. Your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer, and your right to apply to the competent consumer arbitration committees and courts, remain unaffected.
